Victoria Dance

First established in 2000, the school is owned and run by Victoria Shaban, who has more than 25 years of teaching experience. Pupils have gone on to prestigious establishments in the UK and US and several students have pursued a career in dance.

Victoria Dance has also appeared at various events and venues in Bahrain such as the opening of the inaugural Formula One Race in 2004, car launches and charity events.

The school caters for students aged three to 18 and all are invited to take annual examinations from the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) of which the school is a member. They are also invited to join in the annual show.

Victoria is supported by two highly qualified dance teachers, Suraya Mohamed and Robert Viljoen, and the syllabus allows children to progress at their own pace. For students who want to take dance more seriously, they have the option of following the organisation’s Major Syllabus.

The school also offers a complete range of other classes from tap and hip-hop to Irish dance, private lessons and adult classes.
